Yet also customizing in other details such as tile, coping and fiber-optic lights. We don't stop there, adding waterfalls and sheer descents is all done by our in house employees too.

Our thorough preparation of your pool insures that the new surface you choose will properly bond and adhere. It goes as follows:

Drain pool, using all our own equipment.
Prep entire pool, cut and chip under the tile and remove hollow areas.
*Bond coat pool. Bond coat is a primer made by SGM to ensure roughness of the old surface for correct bonding of the new finish. This process may be omitted if sand blasted. ** See sand blasting below.
Apply two (2) coats of ________, chosen color is ________, manufactured by ________, offering a ________ year warranty.
Wash down pool, replace main drain cover and immediately begin filling your pool. Please allow water to run continuously until proper level has been achieved. Please call office so “fire up” date can be arranged.
Water filtration tanks for city water are included.
Startup chemicals with stabilizer for a One Time visit are included.

*Bond Kote Description: SGM Bond Kote is a specially formulated two part cementitious coating, designed to be used as an ideal substrate to mechanically bond pool plaster over existing plaster finishes.

**Sand Blasting: This process is the ONLY process we must "sub" out. We do not make any money from this you are to pay the sand blaster upon his completion. We do know him very well and are able to assist in draining and scheduling but again this is "sub contracted". This process usually takes one to two days total.

It is when a pool comes out of the ground. When a pool is empty, it is like an empty boat- the ground water pushes it up, some pop, others crack or shift. We are covered for this in our insurance.

Please note we do everything we can to obviously prevent this. It is not as common as you may believe. But do to water tables changing constantly in Florida it is possible. This is why home owners NEVER should drain their own pools. Whomever drains the pool is responsible.

They are a dyed surface. Very beautiful. However they have been known to fade, or the colors may be uneven this is not considered material or labor failure.

Do not let that alarm you- that is seldom and the visual difference really warrants the additional cost.

Any time of year, is fine. Keep in mind however you should not use a pool heater for 30 days after resurfacing. Your personal schedule for the use of the pool, and holidays as well as other events should be the biggest thought. Trying to push a pool, before a schedule event makes it tough and stressful for all of us.

It is possible, to replace tile without resurfacing. I personally will advise you that that is a difficult job. We would have to discuss the option is we would even do that after viewing the pool.

I have been fortunate enough to resurface 2 pools for myself, both times using Premix.

If you have well water- ABSOLUTELY! I use them on city water too, but not all companies do, if they are servicing the pool also, it doesn't seem to be a problem.
